This is a very old 'cheese round' box from a cheese factory
in Mabou, Cape Breton.

  2. Water, crystal, cheese, and conifers in tubs, what a glorious mix, is that a beautiful pink Azalea in the garden, and a guy we might just know in blue? Have a great weekend up North.

    1. Yes it is, Jean. Azalias/rhododendrons grow very well in the Maritimes with its acidic soil.

      It IS a Salish First Nations poster.
      I really like filling my shop with different things, Joyce,....so much so sometimes I hate to see it go!! Some business man I am!! lol

  5. Wow, your front garden is magnificent! Love that cheese box from Mabou -- we went there and had lunch at the Rankin sisters' Red Shoe restaurant!

    1. Thanks, Debra. All those years of 'hard labour' is paying off!! lol Now we are in 'maintenance mode'.
      We ate at the Red Shoe as well.....very nice indeed.

  6. Another great Saturday Morning Post set! Ron and Ms SD are always favorites! The Mabou cheese box is fabulous. My Grandfather MacDonald and other relatives came from the Lake Ainsley/Mabou area. My sister Donnie says she loves seeing all the things in your shop. I thought the garden was going to be the Halifax Public Gardens ~ oops! My favorite is "Sundays" though. What a dramatic sky! I hope that you and Ron are enjoying a great weekend!
